This guy is so cool! You can see more pics at techneblog here. There's just so much wonderful detail in this figure. Of course, it's not meant to do anything other than be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but it's much more beautiful than the Honda Asimo, which is the nicest looking functional robot I've ever seen. Check out the video of the robot running... yes, a robot that can run! It can also walk up a flight of stairs or bring you your coffee!
You know, I'm looking forward to being able to see more and more of these things. I think Wil Smith's got it all wrong.
